A Review of "The Scriptures" Version (ISR)

It has been a little while since I published my reviews of the Eth Cepher (part 1 here and part 2 here), and since then, more than a few of you have asked me what Bible translation I actually recommend. I will cover that in a separate article (spoiler: none of them rank 10/10 for me) but closely related to that question is another one I have received many times: what do I think about the ISR? This review is my answer. Here I will lay out, as clearly and fairly as I can, what I think about "The Scriptures" as produced by the Institute for Scripture Research.
